We’re pleasantly surprised how many times we need to use the word “picturesque” in these posts to describe Canada, and it is indeed appropriate again today as we visited the city of Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls (Fun fact: Napoleon Bonaparte’s brother, Jérôme, and wife, Elizabeth Patterson, visited the Falls on their honeymoon in 1804). By the way, there are always lots of people on the sidewalks in the places we visit … we just wait for a break in foot traffic before taking photos.
