We spent two days at Country Village RV Park in Ishpeming, which is a well-maintained facility, but perhaps more aptly called an RV Parking Lot as it’s basically a big, open field with some driveways through it. There are few trees onsite; however, all the sites are on grass so it’s still comfortable. Adding to the comfort is the fact that the temperature for the last several days has decreased by about 10°C, with highs around 25°, rather than the 30°+ experienced for the last month. The drive to Ishpeming from our last site in St. Ignace, MI, was along the southern coast of Lake Superior and, like the northern coast of Lake Superior, we were surprised at how many beautiful, sandy beaches there are along the way.
