We visited the Parliament Hill area of Ottawa and were very impressed with the architecture (and with the lack of “Freedom” truckers – yay!). Lunch on a terrace in the open-air Byward Market gave us the opportunity to people watch and feel the buzz of the city.

No, unfortunately, we didn’t make it to Chateau Lafayette but we have two or three days on our return trip to rectify that!
