August 24 (day 85) – Divide Creek, MT

As there is no cellular service around Divide Creek, we drove into Butte, 30 miles north of us, to use free WiFi at a café to research our next and last sites! It’s hard for us to believe that our adventure will be over in seven days but, although the trip has been wonderful, we’re very excited to be getting home. After our sojourn to Butte we took the time to read and relax by the water, and to really appreciate our spot… we know that when we’re home, we won’t have a creek running through our backyard.

Morning coffee.
The Curtis Music Hall in Butte, across the street from where we had coffee. Imagine all the musicians who have played there in its 130 years of existence!
Once again we had a campsite with almost no neighbours. As in many other locations, when we did have neighbours, they tended to arrive after dinner and leave early the next morning before we were up. We’ve been lucky on this trip to have the luxury to spend two or three nights in each spot to enjoy our surroundings, rather than having to rush in and rush out.
A camping angel (or perhaps good luck omen) at our site.
“Are we home yet?” We wish we could tell Misty she only has one more week to go.

    1. Glad you’ve been enjoying the posts, Rosemary. They’re fun to do but I can only take half the credit as the editor-in-chief with me has the final say! : )

  1. Toujours heureuse de vous suivre. Encore une fois, vos voisins de camping ne doivent pas vous déranger et la rivière ne semble être là que pour vous.
Par contre, je pense que Mysty en a assez de ce road trip.
