Today we headed to St-Lambert – a meaningful neighbourhood for Chantal, who lived there 30 years ago when in teacher-training and during her first teaching position. We then took the metro to the Marché Jean-Talon in Montreal’s (big) Little Italy, and finished with a visit to the Galerie Simon Blais, whom our neighbours and friends in Victoria, Bill and Darnell, have dealt with over the years in assembling a wonderful collection of post-WWII modern artwork by Canadian artists.
